We have been selling paper disposables at wholesale prices for a while now. However we didn’t get the traffic we expected. The reasons why became apparent a few days ago. The wholesale deals where all offered in a page titled pallet deals. This is because the paper is delivered by the pallet.

North of the Border

We have finally cracked it. We have had multitude of internet sales in Scotland. Ok we have a few sales a week in Scotland. However this is no where near as many sales as we have in the Midlands, London and the south east of the UK .

We put the West Midlands sales down to wanting to buy Local and put the London sales down to prices of London suppliers.

The great news is we are really getting ourselves spread around the country with everybody wanting Centerfeeds and Mops being another highly requested product this week.

Another New Local Customer

We had another Internet order from a local customer in Wednesbury West Midlands. We excitedly delivered the products the very next day. The order was reasonably small for a large company(we looked them up on Google) As they had only ordered a few Kentucky mops handles and some MP10!

This isn’t strange as most companies will only buy small for their first order to check out our service. We delivered the goods and managed to speak to the man in charge . The wife then started the ” We would like to supply you with more of our products”  pitch.

I would love to came the reply however we went into administration in October 2008 and there are only 4 of us left here now. They let over 50 workers go in October2008. Its a real shame as it was a nice looking building, with all mod cons such as floodlighting, security cameras, automatic gates etc. It really looked the part.

There are so many companies out there that are finding things difficult at the moment. That is why we are always so glad to see new orders regularly coming through our website and over the phone from word of mouth etc. And always do our best to accommodate people and their needs.

Internet Sales Down

Our internet sales are down over the last few days! It looks like the weather affects everything then even the internet.

With an average of 1 in 5 people not turning up due to the weather this may have nbeen a big factor. Also a lot of schools have been closed and they are a pretty large group of our regular customers. We have many schools on our regulars list a lot of them are within the West Midlands however the rest are from all over the UK and come to us VIA our website www.dwsupplies.com

Its Snowing!

IT is snowing and its coming down pretty thick here in Wolverhampton. However speaking to some of our customers around the country today I was supprised to hear that some of them had no snow or very little snow!

The North West of England Manchester /Preston has hardly any snow. Bromsgrove and Warwick South Birmingham have very little either. However London and Greater London seems to have had the worst of it. Im just glad hat we use a network of National couriers to deliver around the UK!

We only deliver with our own vehicles more locally which works for me.

Internet order Right here in Dudley

I cannot believe it. i know its not that exciting really in the grand scheme of things. I just find it really fascinating that people do a nation wide search on Google for Jumbo toilet roll dispensers and end up buying them from a company 3 miles down the road.

Im glad they are only in Dudley as its a big order and would take a few parcels to courier. This way we just drop the dispensers in the van and off we go. The customer will be happy to as they will be getting our first class service and a free pack of Jumbo toilet rolls to go with there 20 jumbo toilet roll dispensers!
