Its a more acceptable way of saving the environment than ever before. Twelve months ago if you had paper towels made from recycled paper it was because it was the cheapest way to purchase. Now its can be more expensive than the pure virgin pulp variants!
This is due to the massive demand for recycled products. As it is now a hip thing to do, the paper mills have worked this out and have raised the price. This does nothing to help save the environment as companies will always look for the cheaper option and turn to the virgin pulp. As we use more than 30% more than we produce this will have to come to an end too.
So the choice is often now to pay more to save the envioroment or just buy cheap to save your budget. its a tough call and one we leave to our customers. We supply both types of products to suit all budgets/ requirements.
